Session 1 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 13, 2025. Session 1 introduces Part 1 of a 2 Part Introduction concerning the Letter to the Hebrews. Session 1 content develops a thesis that the sermon serves as a polemic focused on the ministry of Jesus as the Christ in his two-fold ministry to enable access for people into heaven. It proposes necessary interpretative background information for greater understanding concerning the probable date and time, contextual background, genre, and possible authors. Also, there is important discussion about the differences in Greek to Latin to German to English translation word meaning. Further, early traditional changes in postmortem experience that effect understanding are highlighted. It finishes with an exercise to stress the importance of background understading for proper decisions in interpretation. |

Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 13, 2025. Session 2 continues Part 1 of a 2 Part Introduction concerning the Letter to the Hebrews. Session 2 content continues to develop a thesis that the sermon serves as a polemic focused on the ministry of Jesus as the Christ in his two-fold ministry to enable access for people into heaven. It offers more essential interpretative background information for greater understanding of the author's message, rather than, common modern philosophical ideas and proof texts. It also continues early traditional changes that effect modern understanding about the believer's postmortem experience highlighted by the author. |

Session 3 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 13, 2025. Session 3 following discourse analysis exegetes the Discourse Introduction (DI) found in Hebrews 1:1-4. As in most sermons, the DI introduces the speakers subject and predicate that God speaks. He outlines two topics that he covers in his exposition to follow. Further, the speaker for his message to follow provides a probable Greek chiastic outline for a polemic that forms his initial claims before moving to his conclusion about the purpose for the ministry of Christ. Rather than a proof text for Christ as creator in the Genesis creation, the emphasis is on the ability created by the two-fold ministry of Christ. Audience questions raise the author's purpose to say more than who God is toward what God is able through Christ to do in bringing people to himself by the ministry of Christ. |

Session 4 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 13, 2025. Session 4 exegetes the first unit point A in his exposition about the ministry of Christ in Hebrews 1:5-14. The DI in Session 3 serves as his introduction to Unit A. His first point developed emphasizes that the ministry of the Son is better than the angel's ministry. His second point highlights his present, inherited, lasting kingdom in heaven at the throne, rather than the temporary, decaying earth. He summarizes with a conclusion concerning the present ministry of angels to people inheriting salvation. Audience questions center on whether Jesus's ministry is better simply due to his essence as God or by what he is able to do that no one else could do in enabling people to enter heaven for salvation. |

Session 5 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 13, 2025. Session 5 exegetes the first unit point B in his exposition about the salvation enabled by Christ in Hebrews 2:5-18. Unit point B is applied by the author in Session 19 concerning Hebrews 12:14-29. His unit introduction in unit B focuses on the topic about the so great salvation that is already being provided by the ministry of the Son. This implies that the people mentioned in the conclusion of unit A in Heb 1:13-14 are presently receiving the inheritance of salvation. His first unit point locates this salvation in the realm about to come that is now in subjection to Jesus. His second point shares many brethren have been made holy by their trust in Jesus. His third point speaks how the Son's death freed people from the realm of the devil. His unit conclusion emphasizes how Jesus as High Priest capable atones for sins and can now assist in need for salvation at testing. |

Session 6 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 13, 2025. Session 6 exegetes Topic 1 of 2 topics in unit point C. This section concerns the speaker’s exhortation in Hebrews 3:1-4:13 to his audience for sharing with Christ in ministry about the so great salvation that enables access by faith into God's rest in heaven. The listeners are encouraged to obediently follow after the example of Jesus and Moses, rather than that of the unfaithful example of Israel. Unit point C Topic 1 in Hebrews 3:1-19 has three subpoints. He first reminds about Israel's confession was followed by an example of unbelief concerning God's ability to accomplish their typological journey from Egypt (this sinful world) into the promised land (heaven and rest). Even though God denied this potentially available rest for Israel in the flesh, God states that he is faithful and they will enter into his rest. His second subpoint exhorts the audience to look at the ministerial example of their own confession in their hearts. The climax of subpoint 3 by interrogative questions highlights comparison of the audience ministerial confession with Israel's example of unbelief that received God's judgment not to enter the promised land. Audience questions lean away from God's faithfulness in his promises toward understanding Israel's unbelief with possible implication toward either loss of their salvation or evidence that they had never called on the Lord for their salvation. |

Session 7 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 13, 2025. Session 7 exegetes Topic 2 of 2 topics of unit point C in Hebrews 3:1-4:13. Session 7 continues the speaker’s exhortation to his audience for sharing with Christ in ministry about the so great salvation that enables access by faith into God's rest in heaven. The listeners are encouraged to obediently in their ministry follow after the example of Jesus and Moses, rather than that of the unfaithful example of Israel. Unit point C Topic 2 in Hebrews 4:1-13 has a unit introduction in Hebrews 4:1-5. In the light of their temptation, he challenges them to fear being the proper example in their confession of Jesus's ministry, rather than an example that falls away in unbelief. After this introduction, the author has two subpoints before the unit conclusion in Hebrews 4:11-13. He first asserts that God's place of rest mentioned by David still remains available. He clarifies that the rest is conditional upon Jesus's provision on "another day." His second assertion points out that this rest he speaks is the same place of rest as the one God rested from the works of creation. His conclusion emphasizes how proper confession during ministry will be judged by Jesus as the Word of God. He is a capable judge to discern the thoughts and intension of the believer's heart until the division of soul and spirit and joints and morrow, which refers to death and transformation to spirit life. Audience questions continue traditional views away from God's faithfulness in his promises toward understanding Israel's unbelief with possible implication toward either loss of their salvation or evidence that they had never called on the Lord for their salvation. |

Session 9 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference. Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 14, 2025. The main part of Session 9 from Hebrews 7:1-28 finishes the Pastor's evidence about Melchizedek that follows, in Session 8, both review of Sessions 1-7 and an introduction to Jesus as called to the order of the Melchizedekian priesthood from Hebrews 5:1-10; 7:1-3. The Pastor rhetorically typifies this Melchizedekian priesthood ministry as solid food that is essential by regular use to discern good or evil teaching concerning Christ. The Bangalore audience questions test the Session 9 textual claims about the ministry of Christ and the asserted position of atonement by Jesus on the cross with prompt transformation and entrance by Jesus into heaven through the veil into the holy of holies at the place of atonement. The main tension centers on the traditional 5th CE view about delay and detour with Jesus descending down into Hades at this death based on assumptions about who the spirits were in prison or under guard to whom he preached (1 Pet 3:19). This later traditional position is critiqued using the solid food teaching concerning both Jesus's fulfilled ministry in death with immediate rising to God and his present priestly ministry from the throne to those coming to God at death and judgment. |

#christ #apostasy #heavenlyhope #heavenlymessage #christianmaturity Session 10 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference. Edited video revision 2 from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 14, 2025. The Session provides exposition from Hebrews 5:11-6:20 concerning the Pastor's rhetorical assertion to his audience for good teaching in their earthly ministry about Christ as being necessary for heavenly reward. It further explores the main emphasis from Sessions 8-9 about how to discern, based upon the foundation of Christ, whether any teaching is good or evil. It further negates the common interpretation of Hebrews 6:4-6 that includes the philosophy of apostasy in falling from salvation, by highlighting the context illustration for the impossibility of Jesus as the Christ or any person falling from heaven, and then, starting over again with the first step of repentance on the OT path to the presence of God at judgment. Audience questions concern the Pastor's and God's commendation of Abraham's life contrasted with God's penalty and refusal for Moses to enter the promised land, in spite of Abraham's relationship with Haggar before Sarah; the possibility that the sermon context involves some in the audience who were unbelievers just pretending to have faith ; and whether his illustration of thorns and thistles implied some in the audience of the sermon committing apostasy in loss of salvation. |

Session 11 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference. Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 14, 2025. Session 11 introduces the main point of the Pastor in Unit F from Hebrews 8:1-10:18. The Unit divides into three main topics. In this session, the first topic A provides exposition about the purpose of the Tabernacle pattern that was given to Moses. Further, he shares the resulting heavenly promises of the new covenant fulfillment by Jesus in this tabernacle of the heavens to his believers by his present new ministry in the heavenly-places. Audience questions concern the applied typology of the local church and earthly ministry by churches in relation to their typologically linked, heavenly promises by Jesus to Peter's confession in Matthew 16:18-20; a return to the context of the Hebrews 6:4-6 warning passage from Session 10; and an observation about the difficult task in learning large amounts of new information now considered from the message of Hebrews against old traditional ideas. |

Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 14, 2025. Session 12 briefly reviews the application of discourse analysis to the sermon of Hebrews. It then explores Hebrews 9:1-14 and the Pastor's rhetorical assertion that God no longer speaks through the ministry of the Holy Place. His claim is supported by Jesus's execution of the new covenant relationship at his death by travel through the heavens into the holy of holies to the place of atonement. At completion of atonement, Jesus on arrival finds redemption with the heavenly veil of separation removed. This created the greater and more perfect tabernacle. Audience questions center on who qualifies for the new covenant and other related issues. Audience questions center on who qualifies for the new covenant and other related issues. |

#tabernacle #christ #tabernacleoftheheavens #placeofatonement #newcovenant #Hebrews9:15-28 Session 13 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference. Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 14, 2025. Session 13 briefly exegetes the Pastor's third point of Hebrews 9:15-28 about his main unit points in his sermon. The Pastor's rhetorical assertions climatically summarize the ministry of Christ by his blood sacrifice to purify sin. Jesus now mediates on behalf of people from a second place without sin, in the tabernacle not made with hands through the heavens, to bring salvation into the perpetual heaven at death and judgment. Audience questions center upon the possibility of other Greek translation options to support the common traditional rendering in Hebrews 9:28 for a second time with correlation to the second coming; cohesion of Jesus promptly coming from a second place with traditional understanding about 1 Thes 4:13-18 and 1 Cor 15:51; and other questions about Hebrews 9:28 interpreted as a present ministry for Jesus, rather than, only a reference to the second coming or the day of the Lord. |

Session 14 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference. Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 15, 2025. Session 14 provides a third day conference summary review followed the Pastor's three final points of his expositional teaching about the better new covenant relationship with God by personal acceptance of the ministry of Christ. After his climatic claims about the present ministry of Christ, the Pastor’s final points claim how the law served as only a shadow of the good things now in the new covenant; the new body prepared by God for Jesus & his believers; and the confirmation by the Holy Spirit and God’s Word as support for the new covenant. Audience questions concern the heavenly and earthly locations of the new covenant, the link of Hebrews with former scholar teaching about realized eschatology and the immortality of the soul, and the ministry of Jesus as continual at this present time for those who come to God by him. |

Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 15, 2025. Audience questions concern the difference in the burnt offering and thank offering in the old covenant; whether under the new covenant people can still be commended by God at death and judgment; revisiting again the concept of discourse analysis and chiastic structure in the Greek rhetorical sermon of Hebrews; and lastly, the differences in the flesh and spirit body of Jesus after rising to God. |

Session 17 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 15, 2025. Session 17 in Hebrews 11:17-40 follows Session 16 in Hebrews 11:1-16 that concerns more of the Pastor's evidence in his description of the kind of faith rewarded by God at judgment after death when God provides access to the city in heaven that he provides those who can call him their God. Audience questions concern the application of this kind of faith with blessings to our children today while living; the reasoning for referring to Greek hypostasis as "substance-reality" in Hebrews 11:1; the validity of the Pastor reading back upon Moses a deep understanding of Christ and what that means for interpretation of the Torah (Genesis-Deuteronomy) written by Moses; interpretation of Hebrews 11:40 as encouragement of the living audience still in flesh during a message focused on fleshly death, spirit transformation, and judgment with salvation for a better hope into heaven; and the message calling people with known iniquities or sins during fleshly life as people of faith when before God in judgment. |

Session 19 of 21 at • Lectures on Hebrews Conference Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 1 in Bangalore, India January 2025 that introduces The Letter to the Hebrews. Filmed at SAIACS CEO Center January 15, 2025. Session 19 in Hebrews 12:14-29 follows the topic provided by the Pastor in Hebrews 10:23 for confidence in an unwavering hope. The Pastor provides vivid symbolic detail of the kind of hope that believers should both portray during ministry and receive at death and judgment by the present mediation of Jesus. His message contrasts the judgment symbolism foreshadowed with Israel at Mt. Sinai with Israel's arrival at Mt. Zion into the city of the living God and heavenly Jerusalem. The Pastor negates the idea of salvation in God's hatred of Esau's ministry compared with God's love for Jacob's life ministry in the linage of the promised seed as Christ. |

Session 2 of 21 • Lectures on Heavens Conference. Edited video from Lectures on Hebrews & Heaven Conference 2 in Bangalore, India January 2025. Content introduces biblical mapping of the heavens based upon Conference 1 exegesis of The Letter to the Hebrews. Video filmed at Crossroad Church temporary worship center January 16, 2025. In Summary, Session 2 continues as Part 2 of Session 1. It emphasizes the importance of understanding the gospel and the role of believers in true conversation when sharing it. The Session underscores that the gospel is not just a work by God as Christ but also involves a call for believers to a part in His ministry. As such, it highlights the responsibility of believers to have a cohesive biblical teaching that aligns with all creation, other biblical understanding, and builds upon the proper foundation and ministry of Christ. It also warns against the dangers of building small earthly kingdoms and emphasizes the need for a loving approach in sharing gospel conversation about Christ two-fold ministry. Audience questions touch on the topic of Babylon, a religious organization that dominates to build a kingdom in this world, and its eventual demise. Session 2 concludes by encouraging believers to build their own hearing of the foundation and ministry of Christ based upon what God has said and to be able to discern and defend the faith. |
